Examples of our clients in this sector
Humberside Learning Consortium
PACE provided the HLC brIDge system used by six partner organisations in the
Humberside Region. This was based on the VAS system model, but moulded around the unique HLC requirement.
Complex working practices, anticipated as a result of government initiatives, will both force the Voluntary
Sector in to collaborative projects and a more contract based culture, where funding is both retrospective
and based on delivery of outputs. This only makes the introduction of a state of the art web based management
information suite into our multi-partner sub-regional framework all the more necessary while creating its own
difficulties. Fortunately, we were able to work closely alongside PACE to
ensure the software they delivered not only fulfilled our present operational, procedural and security
requirements, but also delivered an excellent platform capable of incorporating changes to meet future
organisational needs. The end result is a system that will greatly enhance how our partners work together
across the sub-region, and assist us in delivering an efficient range of services to our clients while
maximising on the resources available to us. Add to this the fact that PACE
delivered on time and within budget and HLC can attest to the delivery of a successful project.

Voluntary Action Sheffield
VAS use PACE for all its complex development needs, and as such VAS has
developed a close partnership with PACE in order to deliver complex but
robust systems not only internally, but nationally to many other Voluntary sector organisations.
After going out to tender to a number of companies for major
re-development of our organisation wide monitoring, management and mailshot systems,
we chose PACE because they demonstrated a far greater
understanding of our requirements, and were able to offer the best advise and support on how
these could be integrated most effectively into our business throughout the whole project lifecycle.
Two years after successful implementation of our systems we still see PACE
as an integral part of our IT infrastructure, so much so that we have teamed up with
PACE to offer our system for use by other voluntary sector and infrastructure
organisations like VAS (see vcconnect.org.uk). Above all, the team at PACE
have always been extremely approachable, and VAS has always enjoyed a great working relationship with
them.
