Software

Key components:

  • Powerbuilder
  • SQL Server 7

PACE were approached by Abbey National when they required on going development and support of their existing in house developed Direct Debits Mandate processing systems.

The system maintained and managed Direct Debit mandates for many of Abbey's mortgage customers, it interfaced with the society's mainframe systems, and it generated and processed all relevant BACS files and transactions to and from APACS.

The front end applications were written in Powerbuilder, and were based on SQL Server 7.0, with a heavy emphasis on Stored Procedure code.

Integration with mainframes was undertaken using the T27 Emulation suite.
